Default Full Hero Teams in HM

Let's face it hard mode lives up to it's name and I love it. The thing is the hype has died down and it's hard to find a PUG (which is OF THE UPMOST IMPORTANCE) in some missions. (I mean can you even think to imagine doing bonus let alone the missions Thunderhead Keep with henches/heros?)

The lack to find a PUG has also forced su to rely on our Guildies and buddies who in the most case don't have that much of a flexiable time. I surley think that if we are given this feat to have up to 7 heros in a party we will surley be able to go forth in our adventures as Hard Mode players without staying 15-20 minutes semi-spamming "Anyone doing this mission HM?"

Gaile said in some thread somewhere regarding this topic that the Hero system wasnt designed for a full team of Heroes. I think she meant simply the flags interface, which is true.

In reply to that comment, there is no need to put additional work into the flagging interface to allow for 4 more Heroes to be flagged. Simply leave it as it is, with the All flag working for the remainingHeroes. So yes:

As much as this would help, it wont happen. Its been asked for countless times. Plus (in my experience), heroes and henches just dont cut it in HM anyway.

Ive tried countless missons with PUGs and Heroes; 95% of the time heroes fail, and PUGs work!

And I wouldnt say my Heroes are incapable and useless. I've vanguished quite a few locations using them.

Really! wow dude, My Heroes and my fav Tyrian Henchies desimated Prophesies HM, and i went in reverse order just for shits and giggles, dived straite in with the same hero builds i was using in Normal mode.

i guess it's like i said before, Heroes don't suck, it could just be the guys controlling them??

(thats not an attack @ you) just an observation ive made since NF.

As for the OP, i see Heroes on par with puggers in all aspects except retreating, they inturrupt better, they spam better, they pick their targets very intelligently, thus i believe 7 heroes in a squad is waaaay over powered.

i understand you guys want to have a full team of 8 picked exactly as you want, class/build/everything, but if i ripped through HM with just 3 heroes, can u imagine the insult if HM if i had 7 heroes to pick..

somewhere along the lines of "this is HARD mODE O_o" "wtf lolololol, free title for everyone Guardian ftw!!"

Well in NM, I wiped 95% of the campaigns with henches or heroes! HM I just find their intelligence isnt good enough.

For example...

...last night trying to vanguish an area in cantha on the training island. My MM kept running off on his own accord to play with corpses that were about a mile away, and running right into agro.

I mean... why?

He was turned to non-aggressive!

Actually, I can think of one thing with the suggestion that would mean Anet would have to completely redesign how heroes are added into the party (and I am assuming that this is at least partially what Gaile was referring to). You can only add a hero in an outpost. The outposts aren't any different for hardmode. They are the same outposts as in normal mode. So how would they implement a feature to allow 7 heroes to be added to a certain party, but not to another? I think it'd take too much time.

To be honest, as much as I'd like them to make it available for a full hero party, it would completely take out all challenge in the game. I mostly play with heroes and hench, and yeah, the missions in HM are a lot harder with henches than with a PUG. It's frustrating, but I think it'd be more frustrating if they added a feature that made hardmode just as easy as normal mode.

I have to say that I believe heros/henchies do work well. As a matter of fact in Normal Mode can do evey single mission with bonus and masters (expect for Imperial Sanctum, where i feel timing of celestial skills is imperative) in all 3 games with heros/henchies. Now in hard mode I can do the majority of missions with heros/henchies as well. You have to be patient and you have to know how to control every aspect of your group to get the most out of them, but the point I am making is that it is possible.

Hard Mode was designed to get people to STOP doing everything solo, you guys really need to understand that. So no, I dont think anet is going to allow more heros.
At the very least you should be able to find at least one other person in your friends/guildie list that has a full set of heros and can go with you on HM stuff..... and if you want the ultimate in control and power get on vent with that person and communicate. You should have no problems.

bringing this back up because GWEN and its truckload of heroes is coming out, yes Gaile has stated that it will not be augmented but i'm optimistic that some kind of change will happen eventually.

as it is pretty easy to get masters with hero and hench in Nm (except with monk imo)

If they did this, people in easy mode would ask for it if they think they can't get a good pug for the area. If anet did this, people would complain that HM all hero groups are killing the community even more.

I say full hero groups for all (maybe make it skill/title based) or none at all.
